Let’s get this straight: the supposed legal experts at the Justice Department, the folks liberals claim are “protecting our democracy,” can’t even fill jobs without breaking the very rules they claim to uphold. This embarrassing mess was exposed after Alina Habba, who had led the office, handed in her resignation. Instead of real leadership, all we got was a group of bureaucrats shuffled into power by a backroom process that didn’t follow the law.
The left loves to lecture Americans about “transparency” and “checks and balances.” But when it comes to their own cozy appointments and secret political deals, those so-called values go right out the window. In New Jersey, this trio of lawyers was sitting on thrones they never earned, all thanks to political games. If conservatives ever tried that, legacy media would be screaming about “authoritarianism” and “threats to democracy.” When the left does it? Crickets.
