Megan Rapinoe sure loves to talk. She never misses a chance to lecture America about how “unfair” women have it—despite her millionaire lifestyle and endless media worship. But when it comes to real women’s oppression, where is she? Iran’s female soccer players are facing true brutality, real danger, and actual censorship—yet Rapinoe falls silent.
This isn’t some petty refereeing call or complaint about salaries. Iran’s regime bullies its own women: Players are harassed, threatened, and even punished just for wanting to compete. All the “feminist heroes” on the left, from Jemele Hill to Keith Olbermann, suddenly become speechless when it really matters. It’s almost like their outrage is fake—or only reserved for bashing America.
Liberals love to parade around as champions of equality—until it might upset globalist pals or threaten their woke brand deals. When women in Iran risk prison just to play, there’s not a single viral tweet from their supposed allies here. Instead, leftist celebrities are busy scolding Americans for not clapping loud enough at soccer games.
Let’s call it what it is: hypocrisy. The left screams about “justice” when there’s a camera on and dollars to be made—but ignores real suffering at the hands of tyrannical regimes. Maybe because Iran isn’t an easy villain for them, or maybe because it means standing for something more than their own egos.
Americans see through this act. The silence is deafening. Is defending real women’s rights too risky for woke superstars like Rapinoe? Or is moral courage just another accessory, to pull out only when it’s profitable?
