The left’s war on free speech reached a new low this week. Ed Martin, a respected former interim U.S. Attorney for D.C., finds himself under the microscope—not for breaking the law, but for daring to question the Democrat-created DEI circus at Georgetown Law. Apparently, just raising concerns about these woke programs is enough to trigger a full-blown ethics probe. Since when did asking tough questions become a crime?
Let’s call this what it is: political persecution disguised as “accountability.” Ed Martin saw through the nonsense shoved into our education system—programs that divide, shame, and punish anyone not following the woke script. Instead of addressing his honest questions, the Washington elites are trying to tar and feather him. Why? Because the ruling class cannot tolerate dissent, especially when it exposes their anti-American agenda.
The liberals running these institutions love to preach about tolerance and open dialogue—as long as you agree with them. The moment a straight shooter like Ed Martin sends a letter holding them to account, out come the knives. It’s not about ethics. It’s about silencing anyone who upsets their precious narrative. That’s the real abuse of power here.
Washington’s bureaucrats love calling out “misconduct,” but only when it’s a conservative with courage. You can harass political opponents, weaponize justice, or shred the Constitution, and the left will look the other way. But point out the flaws in their woke obsessions, and suddenly you’re the villain. Georgetown Law is a perfect example—more worried about safe spaces and identity politics than the rule of law or innocent lives affected by soft-on-crime policies.
America needs more officials willing to challenge the so-called wisdom of the academic elite. Ed Martin should be getting a medal, not an ethics investigation. Is anyone surprised the globalist left wants him punished for speaking the truth? When did questioning failed liberal schemes become a bigger offense than the schemes themselves?
