Trump FCC Crushes Woke Quotas Telecom Giants Forced to Prioritize Merit

The days of forced diversity quotas and woke corporate nonsense are ending—at least for America’s crucial telecom industry. President Trump’s FCC, led by the no-nonsense Brendan Carr, isn’t just talking about putting legacy Americans first—they’re actually doing it. This week Carr made it clear: the FCC is cracking down on so-called “DEI” policies that have infected telecom giants, bullying them to hire based on race, gender, or identity politics instead of competence and hard work.

For years, liberals cheered as big corporations raced to see who could out-woke the other. Key jobs and promotions went to whoever checked the most identity boxes—not the person most qualified for the job. Meanwhile, American customers were left with spotty service, endless phone menus, and skyrocketing bills. The left told us this was “progress.” Now, finally, someone has the spine to say enough is enough.

Under Trump’s leadership, the FCC isn’t just cleaning up its own house—they’re demanding that the entire telecom sector drop the divisive, discriminatory DEI nonsense and get back to basics: reward workers who deliver results and serve the American people. Why? Because nothing should matter more than performance, reliability, and customer satisfaction. Isn’t that what real Americans actually want—especially in an industry as vital as communications?

But don’t expect the left to welcome this common-sense approach. Liberal activists and their globalist allies want every agency, every company—even the most essential American infrastructure—shackled by their political games. They love to accuse conservatives of bigotry while pushing their own version of discrimination, punishing people for failing to meet their woke expectations and quotas. That’s not equality. That’s anti-American.

President Trump, Carr, and the new FCC are choosing results over resentment. They know that pandering to left-wing ideologies weakens our companies and, by extension, our country. Maybe it’s time for other agencies—and other industries—to take a cue from this bold leadership. After all, who wants their broadband run by social engineers instead of real engineers?
