White House promises cheaper gas after Iran war but Americans see another liberal letdown coming

The White House wants Americans to take their word for it—gas prices will magically fall once President Trump wraps up business with Iran. This is the kind of optimism we only ever see when liberals are scrambling to cover for their failures. For years, Democrats shrugged as gas prices soared, blaming everyone and everything except their own weak policies. Now we’re supposed to cheer because they claim relief is coming after a war that shouldn’t have been necessary in the first place.

Let’s be clear—a true America First policy would have kept our country energy independent. But under this administration, we became hostages to unstable foreign regimes and globalist oil cartels. The Biden crew—let’s not forget it was their party—strangled American pipelines, killed new drilling, and cozied up to the so-called “Green” lobby. The result? Sky-high prices at the pump and a shrinking dollar that hurts working families the most.

Now, with Iran in chaos, the White House suddenly discovers it can predict the future of gas prices. It’s almost funny if it weren’t so insulting. Americans aren’t stupid. They know that every time liberals meddle overseas without a plan, regular folks end up paying the bill, especially when it comes to filling their tanks.

The elites in Washington might pat themselves on the back for their foreign adventures, but the average American just wants cheaper gas and a safer world. Funny how that always seems out of reach when Democrats are calling the shots. And yet, even as the country waits for promised relief, the powers-that-be already have excuses lined up if prices don’t budge. If history teaches us anything, it’s that the only thing faster than these politicians’ promises is how quickly they forget them after the cameras are gone.

If the White House really wanted to help, they’d put American energy first—drill, refine, and pump resources right here at home. Aren’t you tired of being told to wait, to hope, and to trust the very people who got us into this mess? Maybe it’s time to stop listening to fairy tales from Washington and demand real, bold, America-first solutions.
