The arrogance and incompetence of our bureaucratic rulers were on full display early Tuesday morning, when the FAA decided to bring JetBlue flights nationwide to a screeching halt. Once again, thousands of Americans had their lives thrown into chaos thanks to the heavy hand of big government. This isn’t just about missed vacations or business deals—this is about a nation being told to sit down and shut up while unelected pencil pushers do as they please.
Of course, the airline requested the pause. But why have we reached a point where companies feel they need to beg for mercy from federal overlords before they can fix their own problems? The system is intentionally rigged. Every industry is tied to so much red tape, they can barely breathe without Washington’s permission. The left loves to talk about progress, but all they’ve delivered is dysfunction.
This is exactly what happens when policymakers put special interests and global regulations above American freedom. Democrats and their buddies in the administrative state have built an aviation industry so fragile that one hiccup can ground an entire airline. Where’s the accountability for the technocrats who created this mess? The so-called “experts” are never the ones stuck sleeping on airport floors.
Air travel used to be a point of pride in this country. Now, thanks to liberal policies and big-government meddling, it’s just another example of how ordinary Americans lose every time D.C. gets involved. The elites never pay the price for these disasters—they just keep pointing fingers while the rest of us are left stranded.
If our country can’t even keep planes in the sky without drama, what hope do we have against real threats? Maybe it’s time to admit: America doesn’t need more bureaucrats. We need leaders who put citizens first and stop bowing down to the altar of government control. How long will Americans tolerate the incompetence of the ruling class?
