The Left is at it again. This time, Democrat-run states are suing to stop President Trump’s team from gathering the truth about college admissions and race. Think about that for a second. Liberals claim to care about “equity,” but the very moment someone tries to shine a light on how race factors into who gets into college, they run for cover and scream foul.
Why would any American be afraid of transparency? The Education Department wants to gather basic data about how colleges use race in admissions. That’s called accountability. But liberal politicians—always quick to hide behind bureaucracy—are throwing a fit. They complain the process is rushed. What’s really happening is that the Left is terrified the American people might actually see just how much race is being used to push their radical diversity agenda, even if it means more qualified students get rejected.
Let’s remember, these are the same Democrat leaders who spent years demanding more “data” and “studies” about oppression, police, and so-called systemic racism. But the second that data might reveal the dirty secrets of affirmative action and left-wing favoritism on campuses, suddenly they want to block it at every turn. Pure hypocrisy.
Of course, the universities themselves love this move. Hiding the real admissions numbers means they can keep playing favorites, picking winners and losers based on skin color, not hard work. That’s everything America is supposed to be against. Yet the globalist, progressive elite keep pushing their woke ideology, punishing students who dare to believe that merit and personal achievement should actually matter.
Democrats don’t want the country to know the truth. They want to keep Americans in the dark while they rewrite the rules and rig the system. If college admissions have nothing to hide, then why fight the sunlight? Maybe because deep down, even they know the left’s obsession with race isn’t about fairness. It’s about control. The question is, how long will real Americans let them get away with it?
