Democrats love to pretend they’re protecting America’s future, but their actions always tell a different story. One prime example? Their outrageous interference with keeping the Strategic Petroleum Reserve stocked up and ready for emergencies. While Americans are busy worrying about high gas prices and national security, Democrats are playing games with our energy supply.
It’s no secret that the left has done nothing but obstruct efforts to refill our Strategic Petroleum Reserve. They drained the reserve in the first place, then stopped any attempts from Republicans to refill it—just so they could push their anti-oil agenda. Their priorities are clear: they care more about pleasing global elites and radical environmentalists than about keeping our own country safe and energy independent.
Let’s not forget, the reserve exists for real emergencies—not as a piggy bank to cover up failed economic policies and skyrocketing prices at the pump. But the Biden administration and its Democrat friends would rather leave us empty-handed and vulnerable, hoping nobody notices who left us exposed. Meanwhile, they scramble to blame anyone but themselves when things go sideways.
The hypocrisy is laughable. Democrats act shocked that the reserve is nearly empty, when it’s their reckless policies and relentless obstruction that put us in this mess. They can’t seem to remember who depleted it, but Americans sure do. It’s simple: when you refuse to fill the tank, you shouldn’t be surprised when you run out of gas.
This is just more evidence that the left cares little for the working men and women who rely on affordable, reliable energy. They’re too busy pandering to climate extremists and foreign interests. If Democrats put half as much effort into protecting American strength as they do into blocking it, maybe we wouldn’t be running on empty. How much longer are we supposed to tolerate liberal sabotage of this country’s future?
