Once again, the Biden administration proves it can’t handle a crisis without digging America into an even deeper hole. Gas prices soar every time there’s trouble in the Middle East—this time, thanks to Iran. Liberal leaders scramble to slap a band-aid on the problem. Instead of fixing our energy policies and putting America first, they turn to the Strategic Petroleum Reserve to bail themselves out.
This is supposed to be our national safety net. A rainy day fund. Now, they’re draining it—without a real plan to rebuild it. The next four months will see millions of barrels flow out, all while the world becomes less stable. What happens when we really need that reserve for an actual emergency? Democrats don’t seem to care—or maybe they’re just too blinded by their own green dreams.
Liberals love to blab about “energy independence,” but their actions show the opposite. They choke American oil producers with red tape and then cry for help when their globalist priorities blow up in their faces. The left has spent years demonizing our oil industry, pushing crazy regulations, and killing pipelines. Now, Americans pay the price at the pump—while the administration keeps playing with our security reserve like it’s Monopoly money.
Of course, the left’s solution isn’t to unleash American energy. Nope. It’s to beg OPEC, burn through our reserve, and hope no one notices this mess before the next election. All the while, foreign regimes like Iran get richer, and American families get squeezed. But do the elites in DC even notice? Or do they only care about securing their next photo op?
When will this administration stop selling us out to global interests? How many gas price spikes will it take before they finally wake up and remember who they’re supposed to serve? America shouldn’t have to limp along, emptying its tank every time the world gets scary. Biden and his team need to put America first—or get out of the driver’s seat.
