Eric Swalwell wants to be California’s next governor, but maybe he should try cleaning up his own act first. It seems like everywhere this Democrat goes, trouble follows. First, he was wrapped up with a suspected Chinese spy. Now he’s trying to play games with his residency, renting a room in someone else’s house just so he can run for office. California deserves better than another ambitious politician who can’t even pick a place to live honestly.
Let’s not forget, this is the same Eric Swalwell who has made nothing but bad decisions. He got way too cozy with Fang-Fang, the Chinese national who managed to get close to a bunch of liberal politicians. Did Swalwell ever face any real consequences? Of course not. That’s typical for the Democrat elite—one set of rules for themselves, another for everyone else. Now he’s pulling more stunts to hold onto power, just like every other out-of-touch liberal who treats voters like they’re too dumb to notice.
Swalwell’s latest move? Claiming he lives in a spare room inside a Livermore house owned by another family. Seriously? This guy clearly thinks a driveway address is all it takes to check off residency requirements and fool voters. It’s one more example of the shady tactics Democrats use to grab power—rules are suggestions, if you’re on the left.
It’s almost laughable how liberals will try to spin this. They’ll say it’s no big deal, everyone does it, Swalwell’s just following the rules. But imagine if a Republican tried pulling a stunt like this. The mainstream media would go wild, screaming about fraud, corruption, and abuse of power. But when it’s one of their own, suddenly the standards disappear.
Democrats like Swalwell are constantly lecturing Americans about “democracy,” but their own actions show what they really think. It’s all about them, not the people. If Swalwell can’t even be trusted to pick an honest address, why should anyone trust him with an entire state? Maybe, after so many years of broken promises and shady deals, everyday Californians should start asking if this is really the leadership they deserve—or if it’s time for these political insiders to pack their bags for good.
