Iran’s Vanishing Supreme Leader Sparks Chaos as Elites Stay Silent

While chaos and confusion reign in Iran, the so-called “new” Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, is nowhere to be found. For a regime that loves parading its leaders around, the sudden vanishing act speaks volumes. This handpicked successor didn’t exactly earn his throne—he was rubber-stamped by a single virtual meeting from the so-called Assembly of Experts. What a joke. Even the most corrupt D.C. swamp rats put on a better show of democracy than that.

The liberals and global elites love to pretend Iran is heading toward reform and maybe even “openness.” But what we’re really seeing is a dictatorship doubling down on secrecy. Mojtaba Khamenei, crowned overnight with zero fanfare, is now missing in action. Healthy leadership doesn’t hide. Weak, illegitimate ones do. Funny how the media elites stay quiet when tyranny wears a turban instead of a red hat.

Meanwhile, while the West bends over backward for appeasement deals, Iran’s leadership can’t even keep track of who’s in charge. The so-called Assembly of Experts—the same folks who play at being a “parliament”—didn’t actually pick the new Supreme Leader. They just clicked a button to say Mojtaba’s in. That’s not democracy; that’s digital dictatorship, rubber-stamped by cowards.

But let’s not forget the real victims. The Iranian people, stuck under religious tyranny for over forty years, now face more instability. And what do you hear from the left? Crickets. No hashtag campaigns, no angry op-eds, no university protests for real Iranian freedom. They save all their outrage for Trump’s tweets or American cops—never for a regime that murders its own people in the streets.

Will any of this wake up our so-called leaders in Washington? Or will the Biden administration keep handing concessions and billions to a government that can’t even keep its own fake king on the throne? If this is what the left calls “progress,” America wants nothing to do with it.
