Something ugly happened on the campus of Old Dominion University. Two people were wounded, and the shooter is dead. Now we know who did it: Mohamed Jalloh. Not just any criminal—this is a former Army National Guard member caught trying to join and fund ISIL.
Let that sink in. This isn’t some random act of violence. This is a man with a violent, Islamic terror history, someone who wanted to help Islamic State terrorists kill Americans. Yet, instead of being kept behind bars or deported, he was released—right back onto American streets, free to plot and attack again. Why? Because the Biden administration’s failed policies put criminals’ rights above American safety.
Jalloh is a naturalized citizen from Sierra Leone who traveled back and forth attempting to join ISIL, trying to smuggle money and weapons for jihad. The government caught him, and still, after all that, he walked free in 2024. What’s the point in arresting terrorists if we just set them loose again? Where’s the justice for American citizens, for the families whose lives are shattered by these radical imports?
Questions need to be answered. Why wasn’t this convicted ISIS sympathizer deported immediately after his arrest? Why did political leaders let him out before America was safe? Instead of securing our borders and protecting law-abiding citizens, Democrats are busy shutting down the Department of Homeland Security, trying to abolish ICE, and falling over themselves to defend open borders and mass amnesty.
This is what happens when leftists care more about globalist virtue signaling than about the people living in their own country. Americans shouldn’t have to worry about foreign terrorists shooting up public places. But under liberal policies, we’re told to just accept these attacks as “the new normal.”
How many innocent people must be gunned down before Democrats wake up? Or is that just the price they’re willing for Americans to pay for their twisted vision of a borderless, lawless country?
