It’s becoming impossible to ignore: the modern left-wing media seems angrier at America than at our enemies. This week, Senator John Fetterman—the darling of the Democrat Party—let the mask slip on national television. There was a tragic school strike in Iran. Instantly, the usual leftist pundits were up in arms, furious and loud. Not—for a change—about Iran’s bloody record or aggression. No. They reserved their outrage for America.
Once again, the liberal media’s priorities are upside down. They bend over backward making excuses for hostile foreign regimes, but when something happens that even brushstrokes the United States, they lose their minds. Why is the left so eager to coddle nations with questionable human rights records, but so quick to attack the very country that gives them freedom to complain in the first place?
It’s hypocrisy, plain and simple. The same networks that shrug when Iran cracks down on its own people suddenly become moral crusaders the moment America’s name enters the conversation. If you’re wondering where their loyalty lies, just watch how they report world events. Their first instinct is never to defend America—it’s to blame her, shame her, and tear her down in front of the world.
Liberals would rather focus on criticizing America than hold true dictatorships accountable. It’s a cozy relationship with globalist interests, where anti-American rhetoric gets more airtime than any honest look at the world’s real villains. These talking heads are more comfortable lamenting America’s supposed sins than mentioning the iron grip Iran has on its own citizens.
It’s time to ask: whose side are they really on? When a tragedy strikes, isn’t it time to point the finger at those actually causing the suffering instead of using every crisis as another excuse to bash America? Maybe the left-wing media should try defending their own country for once—if they even remember how.
