Once again, New York’s liberal politicians are putting radical gender ideology ahead of parents, science, and common sense. This time, Attorney General Letitia James is forcing one of New York City’s biggest hospitals to bring back its transgender treatment program for teenagers. Yes, you read that right—kids who aren’t even old enough to drive or vote are being handed irreversible drugs and pushed toward body-altering treatments, all because progressive elites demand it.
This hospital had the nerve to pump the brakes last month after the Trump administration threatened to pull funding. The move made sense. Washington’s so-called “experts” found a backbone and said, “Enough is enough, we’re not going to bankroll this madness.” But the woke mob in New York wasted no time. Letitia James swooped in, weaponizing her government office to make sure confused teens keep getting pushed down this dangerous road.
It’s no surprise, really. These are the same left-wing officials lecturing Americans about “following the science,” but when the science doesn’t fit their agenda, they just ignore it. Now, under threat from New York’s top law enforcement officer, doctors and nurses get forced to comply with orders that defy both medical caution and parental rights. Are we really supposed to cheer for a system where government bureaucrats make these choices for our kids?
No parent should be sidelined while globalist interests and progressive politicians turn children into guinea pigs for experimental treatments. This is state-sponsored social engineering, plain and simple. The woke crowd loves to cry about so-called “rights,” but not when it comes to a family’s right to raise their kids without interference from radical bureaucrats in Albany.
Make no mistake—this is about control, not compassion. When government threatens hospitals into submission and forces gender ideology onto our kids, everyone loses—except the woke Left. How long will we let these activists play doctor with America’s children? Enough is enough.
