Kids Across America Can’t Read — Here’s Who’s To Blame
Let’s face it: America’s public schools are failing our kids. If ever there was proof, it’s staring us right in the face—children stuck in classrooms who flat-out can’t read. This isn’t just a personal problem for a few unlucky families. It’s a national crisis, and it’s being driven by the bigwigs who run education like it’s their own private playground.
The so-called “reading wars” are a joke. One side worships their trendy, progressive teaching methods, pushing unproven theories that ignore what actually works. The other side—mostly parents with common sense—just wants their children to understand words on a page. But guess which side gets listened to? That’s right, it’s the so-called experts, most of them clinging tight to liberal college diplomas and government wallets.
For decades, liberals have told us their methods would boost kids to some reading nirvana. Instead, millions of children walk out of elementary school, unable to decipher simple sentences. Teachers unions and globalist bureaucrats care more about pushing woke curriculum than they do about the basics. Phonics? Forget it! These elites consider it old-fashioned, even though it’s been proven to help. Instead, they force flawed systems down everyone’s throat, then act surprised when kids fail.
Parents have every right to be outraged. Their taxes pay for this disaster. They watch their children struggle and blame themselves, but it’s the system that’s broken. And who built it? The same crowd always whining about “equity” and “inclusion,” while ignoring the real task—teaching reading. Maybe that’s exactly what they want. After all, an ignorant population is easier to control.
America could lead the world—if only our kids could read. Isn’t it time we stop listening to the liberal elites and start demanding real results from our schools? Or are we just going to sit back while another generation is left in the dark?
