Hollywood just can’t help itself. It takes a popular face, throws him into some flashy new series, and expects the rest of us to get excited. This time it’s Steve Carell, the former office clown, showing up in something called “Rooster” on HBO. Once again, we see the big entertainment machine trying to recycle old talent instead of finding fresh voices with something real to say. Unsurprisingly, this is exactly what you’d expect from the same liberal-run industry that keeps ignoring what America actually wants.
Folks, let’s be honest. There’s nothing new about well-paid actors jumping ship to whatever fancy new show the elites dream up. Carell has left his old desk behind, but don’t think this is some bold move. It’s just another example of Hollywood patting itself on the back while the rest of us roll our eyes. The corporate bosses at HBO would rather double down on bankable, safe choices like Carell than risk telling stories that everyday families can relate to.
It’s the same old game: distract the masses with glitzy launches and “fresh” content, even as they shove the same tired ideas down our throats. Liberals in the entertainment world keep talking about how progressive they are, but their only real innovation is recycling yesterday’s stars. Meanwhile, working Americans are struggling, but Hollywood is too busy celebrating itself to notice. They care more about their fancy parties and virtue signaling than they do about honest storytelling and common sense values.
What happened to the days when new shows stood for something and actors actually took risks? Now, it’s all about big budgets, special effects, and boosting egos. This is the result when woke executives control what we’re allowed to see. Instead of serving the people, they serve the money and their own globalist interests. The ideals that built this country are nowhere to be found on the screens delivered by these out-of-touch moguls.
Steve Carell might be “flying high,” but who really wins here? Certainly not average Americans craving truth, grit, and real heroes. Once again, Hollywood gives us the same faces in new costumes—and expects us to thank them for it. Maybe it’s time for real change. Or, better yet, let’s just turn off the noise and remember what real American entertainment used to be before the elites ran it into the ground.
