Once again, the liberal echo chamber has shown its true colors. This time it’s Sunny Hostin, a panelist on “The View,” twisting the facts and rushing to blame America for every problem under the sun. She’s now wringing her hands over the claim that U.S. forces “targeted” a school—yes, a school—in Iran during the latest airstrikes. The left just can’t resist painting our military as careless, if not outright heartless.
What’s utterly missing from Hostin’s tearful outrage is a basic understanding of how these things actually work. The United States does not “target” innocent schoolgirls. To even suggest that is not only reckless, it’s absurd. Anyone paying attention knows that American forces go to great lengths to avoid civilian casualties, even when our enemies hide behind children to further their sick agendas. But liberal talking heads like Hostin never let facts get in the way of a juicy anti-American headline, do they?
What really stands out is this glaring hypocrisy. Where was all this liberal concern when Iran-backed terrorists were truly targeting civilians, launching attacks that kill innocents? Did anyone on “The View” lose sleep over the suffering caused by Iran’s regime, or do they only find their voice when there’s a chance to trash the United States on TV? It’s a sick double standard. Apparently, holding regimes accountable is less important than dunking on America from the comfort of a Manhattan studio.
Liberals love to play on people’s emotions, hoping nobody will stop and think. They want you to believe that our country—one of the most humane militaries in history—is suddenly the villain. Anyone with a shred of common sense knows that accidents happen in war, but intention matters. Only a far-left fantasist would claim accidental tragedy is the same as evil intent. But of course, the left never lets the truth slow them down.
Call it incompetence, call it willful ignorance, or call it plain old anti-American bias. At the end of the day, the loudest voices on daytime TV have no clue about military affairs, but they sure know how to lecture the rest of us. The real question is: how much longer are Americans going to put up with this tired, blame-America circus that passes for commentary on the left?
