The radical General Assembly just shoved through a sweeping gun ban disguised as an “assault weapon” law. Now, all it takes is Spanberger’s signature—and there’s no doubt she’s itching to deliver.
This is exactly how the Left operates. They slap the word “moderate” on a politician like Spanberger to trick voters. Behind closed doors, they hand power to the gun grabbers and globalist elites who despise American freedoms. The ink isn’t even dry on the bill, and Virginia gun owners are already staring down the barrel of losing their rights come July 2026.
Of course, Democrats love to pretend these bans are about safety. But anyone with common sense knows the criminals won’t bother to follow them. The only people hurt by these laws? Law-abiding Americans who want to protect their families. The elites in power don’t have to worry—armed security guards follow them everywhere. Ordinary Virginians are just expected to roll over and trust politicians to keep them safe. It’s the same broken, hypocritical thinking we see out of D.C. every single day.
