If these were civilians holding “peace protests” in some liberal city, there’d be wall-to-wall coverage, tears from Hollywood, and sanctimonious tweets from politicians who’ve never worked an honest day in their lives. But when it’s military heroes dying overseas—suddenly it’s all whispers and back-page news. This is the kind of hypocrisy conservatives are sick of, and it’s a slap in the face to every person who puts on a uniform.
