Four more American heroes are gone. Their lives ended in a tragic crash over the sands of Iraq, a place we never should have been nation-building in the first place. The men and women who wear our uniform pay the highest price while politicians in D.C. play their globalist games and lecture us about “democracy building” overseas. These soldiers died not in battle, but during a refueling mission—a so-called “non-combat” incident. Is anyone in Washington truly watching out for our troops, or are they just pawns in some failed foreign policy strategy?
Americans have been in Iraq for over twenty years now. That’s two decades wasted, spilling the blood of patriots, while our so-called leaders fold to every new international fad and radical regime abroad. Year after year, these same liberal policymakers dump our tax dollars into endless Middle Eastern messes, yet leave our own borders wide open. The priorities in the White House couldn’t be more backwards.
The media and the left try to distract us with shiny headlines about culture wars and climate panic. Meanwhile, the folks who actually keep America safe—our armed forces—are dragged through endless deployments, all while being forced to sit through “woke” sensitivity training. Is it any wonder tragedies still happen as resources are drained and leadership focuses more on pronouns than on mission success?
Each time one of our servicemembers dies overseas, we’re told it’s the cost of “maintaining stability.” But who are we really stabilizing? Iraq’s corrupt politicians? Or the profits of the global arms dealers who lobby Congress and bankroll campaigns on both sides of the aisle? The America First crowd isn’t fooled. Our troops deserve better than to serve as collateral damage in Biden’s endless foreign entanglements.
Four families will never see their loved ones again. For what? Another round of Pentagon press releases and meaningless platitudes from career bureaucrats. America deserves leadership that puts the lives of our people first. Maybe it’s time to ask: when will our government fight as hard for us as these heroes fought for America?
