Instead, thanks to Newsom and his liberal pals in Sacramento, a child molester with a 355-year sentence is walking free.
That’s not a typo. A serial child predator, locked up for one of the most disgusting crime sprees imaginable, is about to stroll out of prison and head straight into someone’s neighborhood. All because Newsom pushed through a law that lets criminals over 50 with 20 years served skip the rest of their god-awful sentences. Suddenly, decades of justice handed down by real Americans are meaningless. Just so Democrats can brag about reducing the prison population. It’s disgusting.
This brand of “criminal justice reform” is nothing but an insult to every single victim and every law-abiding family in California. Supposedly, the law was about overcrowding. But now, it’s just another excuse for the left to empty prisons and pretend they care about humanity. When the last child predator was released, Newsom claimed his “hands were tied.” That’s a lie. The Governor could fight to change the law, call lawmakers back to fix this outrage, or actually side with innocent families for once. He refuses.
Let’s get real: Democrats never lift a finger for the victims. They bend over backward for criminals, then shrug when those same thugs get out early and destroy more lives. They hide behind empty words like “rehabilitation” and “second chances,” when what they really want is to score woke political points. The only people “winning” under Newsom’s system are dangerous felons and the lawyers who profit from their release.
California used to stand for law and order. Now, our leaders trade justice for headlines and applause from globalist elites who never have to live with the consequences in their gated communities. How many more children need to suffer before the left wakes up and actually fights for those they’re supposed to protect? Or is that just too much to ask from a party that’s more concerned about criminals than kids?
