Iraq War Hero Slaughtered on Campus While Liberal Leaders Stay Silent About Growing Radical Threat

A decorated American patriot gunned down on a college campus. That’s the ugly headline today, as the nation mourns Lieutenant Colonel Brandon Shah—an Iraq war hero and professor at Old Dominion University. He survived the battlefield, only to be killed in cold blood by an ISIS-supporting thug right here at home, in the heart of Virginia.

Of course, this happened at a public university, where left-wing ideologies and anti-American rhetoric run wild. Shah wasn’t just a professor—he was leading the university’s Army ROTC program, training a new generation of leaders to defend America. But instead of gratitude for his service, Shah faced violence from radical Islamic extremism—a cancer our politicians refuse to admit is thriving in our own backyard.

What do we hear from so-called leaders and their media allies? Crickets. Liberal bureaucrats wring their hands about “community healing” and “diversity,” while a brave soldier is dead because soft-on-crime policies and open borders are allowing radical threats right onto our college campuses. The left obsesses over microaggressions, but their silence is deafening when it’s real American heroes getting murdered for simply doing their jobs.

This isn’t some fluke or isolated incident. For years, the left has told us Islamic extremism is no big deal, that we’re the paranoid ones. Meanwhile, globalist politicians import millions with zero vetting, and anyone who demands security is shouted down as a bigot. Enough. Lt. Col. Shah wore the uniform, served his country, and deserves far better than the disrespectful treatment given to those who keep us safe.

So here we are—an American soldier, felled not in Iraq or Afghanistan, but in one of our own supposed places of higher learning. Think about that the next time you hear lectures about “tolerance” from the ivory tower experts. How many more brave Americans have to die before the left wakes up to the dangers it’s unleashed on all of us?
