Another day, another example of woke weakness in action. The LA Marathon, once a grand show of grit and hard work, has betrayed its runners and its fans — all because it can’t stand to hurt anyone’s feelings. This should have been a race for champions, not a playground for people who want trophies for showing up. But somehow, leaders turned the entire event upside down to protect a tiny handful of people, while the rest are told to sit down and shut up.
Imagine training for months, maybe years, pouring your heart and soul onto the streets of Los Angeles, only to see standards thrown out the window. That’s exactly what’s happening, because organizers are so scared of discomfort, they’d rather cancel reality than risk someone being offended. The message is clear: Earned achievement no longer matters if it might make someone feel bad.
This isn’t just about running shoes and finish lines. It’s a sign of the times. Liberals always claim they care about fairness, but look closely — their definition of “fair” means lowering the bar until everyone can trip over it. Standards? Gone. Merit? Out the door. For the globalist elite, the only thing that counts is making sure every single person feels warm and fuzzy, even if it makes a mockery of the sport and the country.
How did we get here? The left bulldozes over traditions, calls it progress, and insists that being “inclusive” means the winners have to pretend losing is the same as winning. It’s embarrassing for America. Participation trophies are now the gold standard, all in the name of sensitivity. Don’t be surprised when hardworking people start leaving these events, fed up with being told their drive is somehow offensive.
Next time you see the LA Marathon, ask yourself: Is this really a race, or just a parade of feelings? If the only goal is to keep the softest voices from crying, what’s the point of running at all?
