LA’s woke school policies just claimed another young victim parents demand answers after tragedy

Another tragedy has hit Los Angeles. Khimberly Zavaleta, just twelve years old, became the latest victim of unchecked school violence at Reseda High School. While LAUSD leaders deliver empty speeches and pat themselves on the back for diversity programs, real children like Khimberly pay the ultimate price. Where are the so-called guardians of our children when actual danger walks the halls?

For years, the left has told us that schools need fewer police, less discipline, and more “restorative justice.” Look where that’s gotten us. Liberal policies, soft on bullies and criminals, have turned schools into dangerous battlegrounds. The focus is on feelings, identity, and woke virtue signaling—never on the basic right of a child to feel safe at school.

LAUSD’s board loves to talk about equity and inclusion. Yet when a real crisis explodes, their priorities show. Bureaucrats scramble to dodge responsibility, blaming parents, society, or even the victims. The reality is they refuse to enforce discipline or empower teachers to confront bullies head-on. Policies meant to coddle troublemakers have become a death sentence for innocent kids.

The tragedy of Khimberly Zavaleta isn’t some distant headline—it’s what happens when woke ideology replaces common-sense American values. Schools exist to educate, not to act as playgrounds for out-of-control teens who know the system will protect them, not their victims. It’s clear: In the liberal-run fiefdom of LAUSD, the rights of bullies often matter more than the rights of students who just want to learn in peace.

How many more funerals will it take before the LAUSD board wakes up? Or is one child’s life just collateral in their endless progressive social experiment? Conservatives see through the charade—children deserve real protection, not empty slogans and disastrous policies.
