This is what happens when the Left puts “diversity” and open borders above the most basic American values. Innocent people pay the price—this time, a distinguished Army leader and professor, Lieutenant Colonel Brandon Shah, lost his life, while two others now fight to recover from their wounds. But don’t expect mainstream media to spotlight the real threat: radical ideology festering in our own backyard.
The suspect, whose background should raise every red flag, is just the latest example of extremist violence spreading across campuses. Our universities were once proud symbols of American excellence and free speech. Now, thanks to years of liberal coddling, they’re turning into playgrounds for people who hate everything this country stands for. Instead of honoring our military, the woke academic elite lecture our students about “oppression” and “systemic racism.” Is it any wonder a terrorist sets his sights on a hero teaching ROTC?
Federal authorities always seem to move too slowly—almost as if they’re more worried about political correctness than national security. They talk in circles, terrified of offending the wrong group, while families mourn and brave soldiers lose their lives on home soil. America deserves better than empty gestures and “thoughts and prayers.” It’s time for action that puts American citizens first. But try telling that to Democrat politicians and their globalist friends, who seem more interested in appeasing foreign radicals than defending our own.
This tragedy exposes the hypocrisy of the so-called “inclusive” policies championed by the Left. They claim to care about safety, but open the doors wide to anyone, no matter their ideology or loyalties. Meanwhile, they demonize patriots, punish law-abiding citizens, and look the other way when real threats emerge. Where is the outrage from liberal activists now that an American military leader is dead? Or do his service and sacrifice mean nothing to the same crowd that wants to defund the police and tear down our border security?
Americans need to ask themselves: How many more innocent lives have to be destroyed before we reclaim our country’s backbone? If this is what “progress” looks like, maybe it’s time we take a stand and start caring more about our own people than about appeasing the world. Will our leaders finally wake up, or will they just keep making excuses while our enemies grow bolder?
