The latest news out of the Middle East should have every freedom-loving American cheering. The United States and Israel finally called Iran’s bluff, hitting the regime right where it hurts. The thugs who held power over the Iranian people are gone. And now, for the first time in decades, hope for real change is alive in Iran.
But guess who isn’t celebrating? The so-called “human rights” groups. These liberal organizations used to claim they stood up for real victims, but now, they just spew anti-American, anti-Israel talking points. Rather than backing brave Iranians risking their lives for freedom, these groups immediately fell all over themselves to blame the West. It’s obvious they care more about protecting Iran’s murderous regime than stopping torture, tyranny, or terrorism.
While Iran’s leaders were busy building bombs and funding terror, libs in the elite world obsessed over “dialogue” and “restraint.” That does nothing to help the girls being beaten in the streets or the protesters thrown into dungeons. When the US and Israel finally take bold action, these activists have the nerve to call it an “escalation.” Funny how they never say a word when ordinary Iranians are crushed under the mullahs’ boots.
This is the true face of so-called liberal “compassion.” Globalists and leftist elites wring their hands, terrified any American action might upset their precious “world order.” These same people rush to defend the world’s worst regimes, just as long as they get to bash America for “intervening.” They seem to forget who stands for basic rights and who spreads terror.
Americans deserve better than this tired old act. Decisive action shattered Iran’s cruel leadership and gave hope to the voiceless. Yet the left STILL finds a way to twist victory into some new outrage. Here’s a question for every detester of America and Israel: why is it that freedom for Iranians makes you so upset? Maybe because deep down, leftist “activists” care more about scoring points than saving lives.
