Montana Republicans Accused of Rigging Primaries with Trump’s Blessing Voters Are Furious

If you ever doubted politics is a blood sport, just look at what’s happening in Montana. The Republican Party—supposedly the party of fair play and transparent elections—has been accused of playing the same power games we see from leftist elites. Instead of trusting the voters, some are lining up their favored successors like chess pieces, greasing the skids behind closed doors, and calling it a “public service.” Give me a break.

Montana Republicans have spent years pounding the table about a rigged system. They promised the people something different from the bureaucratic backroom deals that Democrats love. But now, one of their own allegedly rigged a primary, and—just to add a cherry on top—did it with the blessing of President Trump. Is this how America is supposed to work? Elected officials aren’t supposed to handpick their heirs. The people are the ones who should be in charge, not a handful of power brokers patting each other on the back.

We conservatives are supposed to believe in competition, honesty, and picking the best man or woman for the job. This kind of political engineering stinks of the same swamp tactics we’ve fought for years. Voters are watching, and they’d better not forget it. When politicians stop listening to the grassroots and start coronating their buddies, it’s the little guy who gets betrayed—again.

Meanwhile, where are the Democrats? They’re experts at rigging their own primaries, manipulating superdelegates, and gaming the system for their chosen candidates. When Republicans stoop to that level, it’s an insult to every patriot who still believes in one person, one vote. We aren’t supposed to copy the left’s failures. We’re supposed to fix the system, not make it worse.

This isn’t statecraft—it’s backroom dealing at its worst. If Republicans want to keep their integrity—and their voters—they’d better clean house and let the people speak. Otherwise, why should anyone trust them any more than the globalist liberals in Washington? If this is what “public service” looks like, maybe we should start looking for some real servants of the people. Who’s going to call them out if we don’t?
