Six American heroes lost in Iraq as political elites play games with their lives

The tragic loss of six brave American airmen in Iraq is a gut punch to every patriot in this country. These men didn’t die from enemy fire. Their KC-135 refueling plane went down—possibly because of a mid-air collision—while carrying out their duty. All in the thick of Operation Epic Fury, the latest American push to finally deal with the mess in the Middle East. Thirteen Americans have now given their lives in this operation. For what? Because we have leaders who play political games with war, but never pay the price themselves.

Washington elites and their globalist pals love to send our best and bravest into harm’s way, but when tragedy strikes, all they offer are flowery words and empty gestures. It happened again. The Secretary of Defense quickly released a canned statement, trying to cover his own tail and sound “presidential.” The crew’s heroism deserves more than that. Real leaders don’t just show up at Dover Air Force Base for a photo-op—they fight to win or bring our people home. Americans are sick and tired of watching our troops bleed for half-baked strategies cooked up by bureaucrats who never get their hands dirty.

Meanwhile, the liberal media will barely mention these fallen heroes, too busy covering for their favorite politicians or crying about “international diplomacy.” They won’t talk about how the old guard in D.C. repeatedly bungled every opportunity to bring real stability to the region. They never address how these endless wars start under weak leadership, but they’ll jump at any chance to blame the military when things go wrong. The anti-American bias is so obvious, it’s insulting. Our enemies must sit back and laugh at how we mourn tragedy while refusing to accept responsibility at the top.

It’s different now. There’s a new sheriff in town—one who won’t bow to Iran, or the United Nations, or any foreign despot. For decades, soft-spined presidents promised swift action but delivered nothing but hot air. Now, for the first time in ages, we have real resolve: a leader who isn’t afraid to use American strength and put our interests first. That’s what scares the global Left and their cronies. They’d rather sabotage American victory than admit Trump’s approach actually works.

Every American should remember the names and faces of these six lost heroes. They’re not statistics. They’re the heart of our nation—sacrificed, not because of enemy bullets, but because of failures and indecision higher up the chain. When will the charade end? How many more have to die before the elites remember what it means to win—for America, and for those who serve her without question?
