Two weeks have passed since America began its bold operation in Iran, and already the left is wringing its hands. The U.S. just took decisive action on Kharg Island, targeting 90 hotspots. But—get this—avoided hitting the oil. While America’s leaders play it careful, the fanatics in Tehran keep lighting matches in a gas station, taking shots at energy supplies all across the Gulf.
This is what happens when “global cooperation” and weak-kneed diplomacy go too far. Liberals want the world to love us, so they tiptoe around oil while Iran kicks and screams, attacking whatever it wants. They call it “restraint.” Conservatives call it appeasement.
Meanwhile, the Iranian regime laughs at our hesitation. They torch energy pipelines, sabotage tankers, and show total disregard for regional stability. Yet, Washington elites are terrified of upsetting oil markets. Who are these Democrats really protecting? Middle America’s families struggling at the pump—or their globalist pals cashing in behind the scenes?
The hypocrisy is breathtaking. When American interests are under direct attack, we’re told to “stand down,” “de-escalate,” or “consult international partners.” Yet not a peep when Iran strikes at the world’s energy backbone, threatening to send gas prices through the roof for hardworking Americans.
How many times will we watch our leaders let chaos reign while pretending everything is under control? Real strength means putting America first, not tiptoeing around radical regimes. Maybe it’s time our so-called leaders stopped worrying about bad press in Brussels—and started worrying about kitchen table prices back home. How much longer will we settle for this spineless foreign policy experiment?
