Americans who just want to board a plane and get to work or see loved ones are now being forced to waste hours in TSA lines. Why? Because Democrat politicians would rather play politics than protect our country. These lawmakers have allowed Department of Homeland Security funding to run dry for over a month, leaving the basic functions of America’s security agencies hanging by a thread.
This is what happens when leftist elites in D.C. care more about scoring cheap points than actually doing their jobs. While travelers are stuck, irritated, and missing flights, Senate Democrats have blocked attempts to restore DHS funding not once, not twice, but four times. Why should everyday Americans suffer so politicians can signal to their radical base? It’s shameful.
Let’s be clear — DHS isn’t just the TSA. We’re talking about agencies that defend our borders, keep hackers out of our critical infrastructure, combat disasters, and protect the president. Democrats whine about safety and January 6th at every turn, but when it comes time to actually fund the very agencies charged with protecting us from terrorists, criminals, and cyberattacks, suddenly they dig in their heels and refuse to help. Their hypocrisy is stunning.
Demanding open borders, caving to globalist interests, and stalling basic security funding shows how out of touch today’s left has become. Americans have watched as terror attacks have rocked cities like New York, Michigan, Virginia, and Texas — yet Democrats refuse to act. They’d rather sow chaos at the airport and leave our borders weak than admit their anti-American agenda is dangerous.
This is what liberal leadership looks like: broken security lines, frustrated travelers, and a government more interested in posturing than service. If Democrats won’t even fund the agencies that keep us safe, what exactly are they good for? Maybe voters stuck for hours in TSA lines will remember who’s to blame next November.
