America has waited far too long for a leader willing to shake the immigration system to its core. That leader has arrived—and it’s Congressman Andy Ogles. While the radical left busies itself with open borders, handouts, and endless lectures about “diversity,” Ogles is stepping up with an immigration reform bill that strikes directly at the heart of the problem the left refuses to even admit: the destruction of American values through unchecked, chaotic immigration.
For decades, the 1965 Hart-Cellar Act has been chipping away at the foundations of this nation. Instead of serving America’s interests, it’s been a golden ticket for globalists, cultural erasure, and economic sabotage. Ogles has finally drawn a line in the sand. His Assimilation Act doesn’t just tweak a broken system—it bulldozes the open border agenda, eliminates the diversity lottery scam, and puts strict moral standards back on the table. Why is that so controversial? Because it threatens the left’s obsession with diluting American culture in the name of “inclusion.”
Predictably, the Democrats are losing their minds. They’d rather censure Ogles for daring to mention the obvious threats that have come hand in hand with failed border policies. How many more times do Americans have to watch headlines of “lone wolf” violence and terror—always dismissed as a fluke—before someone in Washington takes action? Ogles is dragging the leftist elite, kicking and screaming, into a conversation they’ve desperately tried to avoid.
His plan is simple: the United States should, once again, decide who gets to come here, not faceless international bureaucrats or bleeding-heart activists. No more chain-migration loopholes or mysterious lottery winners with questionable backgrounds. Prospective immigrants would have to prove they’re a benefit—not a burden—to America, facing tough background checks that leave no stone unturned. Does that sound “extreme” to anyone who actually loves this country?
The left is furious, not because Ogles is wrong, but because he’s right. Their greatest fear is a return to an immigration system that puts Americans first and holds newcomers to high standards. For too long, they’ve tried to silence anyone who dares challenge their vision of a borderless, cultureless country. But the real question is: will Congress finally show some backbone, or will it let America’s enemies keep walking right through the gates?
