Biden administration ignores the law leaves IRS boss in power after term expires

The Biden administration just proved again that rules are only for the little people, not for the elites running our country. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent has decided to keep running the IRS, even though his official term as acting commissioner is up. Translation: Washington Democrats don’t care one bit about the law or the Constitution—they just do whatever they want.

This is typical liberal arrogance at its worst. When the law says someone’s term is over, that should mean it’s time to step aside. But not in Biden’s America. Instead, unelected bureaucrats stay in power, making decisions behind closed doors, while everyday Americans are forced to follow every rule down to the last letter.

It’s always the same story with these globalist, big-government types. They scramble the rules when it benefits their friends. They never think the rules should apply to them. Maybe if everyday Americans ignored federal rules, they’d get the same treatment. But regular folks get audits and threats from the IRS instead.

The IRS already has an ugly reputation for targeting conservatives and working Americans. With a ‘permanent’ acting boss who answers to no one, what’s to stop them from getting even more ruthless? Taxpayers are left defenseless, while political insiders cling to power like it’s their birthright.

Why should the IRS even bother pretending there are rules anymore? Laws apparently don’t matter if you’re in the Democrat club. The rest of us are just supposed to shut up and pay up. Maybe next time you get a letter from the IRS, you should just ignore it—after all, that’s what the big shots in Washington do.
