Democrats love to talk about safety and justice—unless, of course, it comes back to bite one of their own. Case in point: a fugitive wanted for impersonating a police officer, working security for Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett, ends up in a deadly standoff with Dallas SWAT. You can’t make this stuff up. Instead of doing basic background checks, the left puts their trust in criminals while preaching about police reform and “accountability” to hard-working Americans.
The truth is, this “security expert,” a man known as Mike King, was a wanted man all along. Authorities haven’t even shared his real name. Now we find out he’d been moonlighting as a cop—a complete fraud, walking around with an air of authority. Yet this is the kind of person Democrats bring into their inner circle. No wonder regular folks don’t trust the system. If a sitting member of Congress can’t even keep her own house in order, why should anyone believe the left’s promises about keeping our neighborhoods safe?
It’s no surprise this ended in violence. When you surround yourself with criminals and impersonators, chaos isn’t just possible—it’s inevitable. There’s a special kind of irony seeing someone hired to protect a Democrat lawmaker turn into a public menace. The party of “defund the police” is happy to buddy up with people pretending to be police when it suits them. All while law-abiding Americans get called “domestic threats” for wanting to secure our borders or protect our families.
What really stands out here is the staggering level of hypocrisy. Jasmine Crockett and her friends in Washington keep telling us they have the moral high ground, that their “progressive” approach will “fix” our country. But who are their allies? A fake cop, wanted by real police, who gets into a standoff with SWAT? If we let these folks keep running the show, how long before every corner of America looks like Dallas in lockdown?
The left claims to value transparency, background checks, and accountability. Yet, when it’s their own, those rules go out the window. Is this the new standard for leadership in America—no standards at all? Maybe the real question is, how many more Democrat scandals is it going to take before the American people finally wake up?
