Florida just delivered a wakeup call to every other red state still sitting on the fence. While the left keeps crying about “voter suppression” and pretending fraud isn’t a problem, brave lawmakers in Florida have taken real action. They passed a bill, inspired by the common-sense SAVE Act, that demands voters prove they’re actually citizens when they sign up to cast their ballot.
It’s amazing that this is even controversial. Only Americans should be voting in American elections. But try telling that to the radical left or their globalist buddies. They want open borders, open polls, and closed eyes when it comes to accountability. For years, Democrats have pretended that asking for documentation is somehow racist or unfair. That’s a lie, plain and simple.
Florida’s move should embarrass every politician out there who puts illegal aliens ahead of American voters. Liberals throw fits if someone wants to see an ID at the polls, but somehow expect you to show your papers to buy cough syrup. Suddenly, making sure elections are honest is a bad thing? If you can’t prove you belong here, then you shouldn’t get a say in how this country is run. Period.
This bill is for the hardworking Americans who pay taxes, raise their kids, and play by the rules. It sends a message: your voice matters, and we won’t let it be buried by fraud or incompetence. Anyone who claims voter security hurts democracy is just mad their schemes don’t work when the lights get turned on.
Florida remembered what the left wants everyone to forget—that strong borders and strong elections are the backbone of a free country. Maybe the rest of America will finally wake up and follow their lead. Or do liberals really believe that citizenship means nothing at all?
