There’s chaos in Baghdad once again, and guess who’s caught in the crosshairs? Americans. The iconic “Green Zone,” which was supposed to be the safest corner in all of Iraq, just got rocked by a missile attack targeting the United States Embassy. This wasn’t just some random incident—reportedly, Iranian-backed militias were behind the attack. Now the folks in charge are finally waking up and telling every American left over there to pack up and leave—right away. What took them so long?
Let’s be honest: this is what you get after years of appeasing Iran and tiptoeing around rogue regimes. Like clockwork, our enemies spot weakness from the current administration and pounce. The so-called experts in Washington have been telling us for years that pulling back and “letting diplomacy work” would somehow lead to peace. Yet here we are—missiles fired right at our embassy, and Americans scrambling for their lives.
Liberals love to pat themselves on the back, pretending that open borders and globalist deals make us “safer.” How’s that working out? The only people feeling secure are the terrorists who keep pushing their luck. The second the United States shows hesitation or apologizes for defending itself, the fanatics smell blood in the water. All the while, the left spends more time worrying about “climate change” or gender pronouns than the safety of American citizens abroad.
Instead of drawing a red line, the political elite sits back and wrings their hands. They warn Americans to leave after the disaster has already started. Ordinary families, contractors, and patriots are being put in danger because leaders in Washington would rather virtue signal to their buddies in the UN than actually keep Americans safe. It’s incompetence at best, and outright betrayal at worst.
How many warning shots do we need before the so-called leaders stand up for America? At this rate, foreign thugs get to play war games on our embassies with zero consequences. Maybe it’s time for the real adults to step back into the room. Or is this just the “new normal” the Left wants us to accept?
