America is getting squeezed from both sides, and the average American feels it every single day. On one end, you’ve got the bizarre crowd of progressive isolationists—those folks so obsessed with their own virtue that they’ve lost all common sense about what keeps America safe and strong. They don’t want borders; they don’t want backbone. They daydream about a fantasy world where if we just minded our own business, the world’s bullies would magically leave us alone. Spoiler: that isn’t how it works in the real world.
Swing your head the other way and the same old neocon crowd is back, hungry for more endless wars. These armchair generals think every conflict on the planet is another chance to drain American wallets and spill American blood. Never mind that Middle America is sick of footing the bill for globalist follies. The neocons’ answer is always another blank check and another flag-draped coffin.
Stuck in the middle is JD Vance, a guy who actually tries to put America first—imagine that. He isn’t falling for the left’s weak-kneed daydreams, nor is he itching for more foreign mud to slog through. He’s not afraid to call out the nonsense on both sides, and that scares the establishment to death. The ruling class, in both parties, can’t stand someone who rejects their script.
The liberal elites pretend they want peace, but all they deliver is chaos and insecurity here at home. The neocons pretend they want strength, but their idea of “strength” is endless spending—and endless funerals for American kids. It’s not hard to see why so many regular people feel trapped, ignored, and angry.
Maybe it’s time to admit that the ruling class just doesn’t care what Main Street folks want. They’ll call anyone who dares challenge their racket a radical, an extremist, or worse. But JD Vance shows there are still leaders willing to put our country over their cocktail-party invitations. Here’s a question no one in Washington dares to answer: When will they finally put America—not politics—first?
