When Trump speaks, the world listens—something the left can’t stand to admit. This week, President Trump made it clear that “many countries” are finally stepping up where it counts. They’re sending warships to patrol the Strait of Hormuz, proving that leadership matters and American resolve actually inspires action. It’s no accident. When a real commander-in-chief draws a line, the global community remembers there’s a grown-up in charge, not a flailing bureaucrat reading from a teleprompter.
Liberals love to pretend that appeasement and soft words will keep the world safe. Let’s be blunt: that’s a fantasy. Iran doesn’t respect weakness. They see through empty threats and pointless UN resolutions. The only thing that keeps Iranian aggression in check is overwhelming force—and the will to use it. Trump isn’t afraid to say what the rest of the world is thinking. Even when the Iranian regime is battered, they’re still dangerous. Our enemies don’t just give up because the State Department holds another cocktail party.
The leftist media and their globalist buddies panic when Trump rallies America’s allies. Why? Because they know that strong borders, strong navies, and strong alliances make their open-borders, “world government” dreams fall apart. Every warship sailing into Hormuz sends the same message: America is leading again. Not bowing. Not apologizing. And certainly not begging for permission from unelected bureaucrats in Europe or at the UN.
Where were all these “allies” during those years when Democrats fumbled and stumbled? Nowhere. The Strait of Hormuz became a playground for Iran while liberals wrung their hands and sent pallets of cash. Trump’s approach is the opposite: make the world respect us, or, at the very least, fear the consequences of crossing our red lines.
This is what happens when voters choose strength over spinelessness. The world gets safer, America gets stronger, and Iran learns—yet again—that you do not mess with the United States. Maybe it’s time progressives stopped worrying about “offending” dictators and started defending the interests of the American people. But that would take courage—a trait in short supply among today’s liberals.
Maybe next time the left wants to hand Iran another olive branch, they can try doing it from the deck of a battleship.
