Biden team claims Iran crisis will vanish in weeks but Americans pay the price

The Biden administration is at it again—making wild promises and offering excuses as America’s interests hang in the balance. This weekend, Energy Secretary Chris Wright stepped onto a Sunday news show and tried to comfort the country by saying the conflict with Iran will probably be over in just a few more weeks. Does anyone actually believe Washington’s latest “trust us” routine?

Let’s step back and see this for what it is: another classic example of liberal leaders failing at foreign policy. First, they let Iran get bolder and stronger for years—then, once things spiral out of control, they try to spin it as if everything’s under control. Where was this “strong” leadership before the first missile even fired? Instead, the White House showed weakness abroad, and now they want us to believe things will just magically wrap up in time for the next news cycle.

It is no secret international conflict is good business for the global elite. While Americans pay more at the pump and watch our troops sent into harm’s way, out-of-touch bureaucrats like Wright reassure us with sweet little timelines and empty promises. Maybe they can circle a date on their calendar, but American families don’t have the luxury of wishful thinking. Gas prices, security threats, and a world on edge—none of that ends with a snap of Biden’s fingers or Wright’s precious optimism.

What happened to actually standing for America’s interests? The left is always ready to negotiate with adversaries, ship out our taxpayer dollars, and promise “peace” while our enemies rearm themselves for the next round. Yet when it comes to real results, what do we get? Vague statements and a never-ending game of pretend. Our leaders care more about the feelings of Europe and the United Nations than the safety of kids in Texas or jobs in Ohio.

The American people deserve leaders who tell the truth, act decisively, and put their country above globalist games. Will this Iran conflict really end in a few weeks? Or is this just wishful thinking from an administration that refuses to face reality—again?
