There was a time when the left knew how to laugh at itself. Now? The woke mob has crushed any sense of humor and replaced it with non-stop outrage. But even the loudest progressives can’t avoid reality forever. Just look back—not that long ago—when even an old liberal comedian like Bill Maher had the guts to blast a well-known reporter for pushing woke nonsense. He didn’t sugarcoat it. He tore those ridiculous leftist ideas apart, exposing them for what they are: ridiculous, childish, and plain stupid.
This moment should have been a wake-up call for the left. Sadly, most ignored it. Instead, they doubled down on cancel culture and virtue signaling. People who disagree get branded as enemies, racists, or worse. All because they challenge the latest woke demands about language, history, or even basic biology. And the so-called “journalists” who promote these ideas? They never have a good answer. They fold the second someone calls them out on their hypocrisy.
It takes a comedian to state the obvious, because our journalists sure aren’t interested. These days, most reporters act more like activists than truth seekers. They’ll keep parroting whatever the globalist elite tells them, as long as it fits the narrative. They want to tell everyday Americans they’re the problem for loving this country, for wanting secure borders, or for simply using common sense. “Progress” means rewriting America’s values and making us apologize for who we are.
Reality isn’t on their side. Americans can see through the lies. Anyone paying attention knows that the woke ideology is just a smokescreen for attacking American traditions and values. It’s an excuse to control what we say, what we think, and how we live. But even the left admits it—when forced to face the facts. Funny how truth slips out when the cameras are rolling and someone like Maher decides enough is enough.
Let’s be honest. The woke crowd cares more about feelings than facts. But feelings don’t build strong nations. They don’t keep us free. Maybe one day the left will realize that, before the rest of America gets tired of their games and leaves them behind for good. How much longer will we put up with this circus, pretending we don’t see the clown show for what it is?
