Islamic schools sue Texas to hijack school choice and force woke values into your child’s classroom

Texas is under attack—again—by those who can’t stand the idea of empowering parents and protecting American values. This time, it’s coming in the form of yet another lawsuit from Islamic schools and their parents, whining about being supposedly “excluded” from Texas’ bold new school choice program. Instead of working to embrace what makes this country great, these groups are dragging Texas into court, demanding special treatment.

It’s no surprise that the left cheers these lawsuits. Liberals can’t stand it when families get real options for education. They’d rather keep kids trapped in failed public schools, learning woke nonsense and being told to hate America. Now, when Texas steps up and gives parents the power to pick schools with strong morals and real standards, the left and their globalist pals want to cry discrimination—even as they support programs that openly sideline Christian and conservative schools.

Three Islamic private schools have already joined four parents to sue Texas. Their claim? That it’s somehow illegal to keep their kids from collecting money through the state’s program. This comes right out of the left’s playbook: Play the victim. Run to activist judges. Use the courts to push policies they could never win at the ballot box. The real reason for all this outrage isn’t fairness—it’s about breaking down the boundaries that keep America’s education system strong and based on shared, traditional values.

While these lawsuits grab headlines, Texans see what’s really happening. The same liberals who fight tooth and nail against school choice when Christian schools are involved magically become warriors for religious inclusion when it suits their agenda. It’s pure hypocrisy. Their real goal? Water down school choice until it’s just another bloated entitlement, designed to serve every special interest but never to uplift the hard-working American family.

Texas parents want freedom. They want the right to send their kids to schools that teach reading, writing, math, and patriotism—not radical ideologies or globalist dogma. Yet every time conservatives try to give them that power, the courts get weaponized by those who want to undermine our way of life. How long will Texans let out-of-touch elites and activist judges decide who gets the keys to their children’s education? If we cave to every lawsuit and every demand for more “inclusion,” pretty soon, there’ll be nothing left worth defending.
