Terrorism Has No Excuse. Neither Does Liberal Rationalizing.
Let’s get real: when a terrorist storms into a synagogue, rifle in hand, intent on slaughtering Jews—including innocent children—there’s no “context” that softens that evil. But try telling that to the left-wing activists and their friendly media allies, who bend over backwards to turn every jihadi into some kind of misunderstood victim. It’s sick. And it’s dangerous.
Just look at what happened at Temple Israel in Michigan. A naturalized citizen, Ayman Mohamad Ghazali, drove his car into a synagogue and geared up to massacre whoever he could. Thankfully, no children were there that day. Even better, there were actually armed security guards on duty. These brave Americans did what had to be done—they stopped the carnage before it could start. Ghazali is no longer a threat to anyone.
But what did some so-called community leaders do? They pointed fingers at the victims. Mohamad Baydoun, a Muslim from Dearborn Heights, straight-up acted like the Jews at Temple Israel somehow deserved it—because Ghazali’s family had ties to Hezbollah and lost people in the chaos overseas. That’s the new leftist narrative: if you claim enough victimhood, somehow terrorism turns into “retaliation.” The mainstream outlets ran with it, pushing this twisted excuse for bloodshed.
Let’s not ignore the facts. Ghazali’s brothers were Hezbollah members. Yet he strolled right through America’s immigration system and right into our communities. Don’t hold your breath waiting for any answers from the bureaucracy. God only knows how many others just like him were let in. Apparently, vetting is just another word the left has decided doesn’t matter.
Here’s the crazy double standard—when radical Muslims kill Americans, liberals urge everyone not to blame the group or question anyone’s motives. But just imagine if the victims tried to take justice into their own hands. No one on the Left offers “context” then. They want to throw the book at people like Daniel Penny, while dangerous radicals get a sympathetic headline and a free pass. Where’s the justice for the thousands of American families destroyed by terrorism? They’re told to keep quiet and move on.
If liberals really believe that collective punishment is okay when it serves their globalist, anti-American agenda, what’s next? Vigilante justice in our streets? If murder becomes “justified” every time someone feels aggrieved, that’s not progress—it’s the end of civilization itself. The Second Amendment patriots at Temple Israel didn’t apologize for defending life. They took out the trash. Maybe the rest of the country should take note before the left’s self-destructive excuses destroy everything we value.
