The radical Left will stop at nothing to hand out “second chances”—even to convicted terrorists. That dangerous obsession with woke policies just let an Islamic State supporter walk right onto a Virginia college campus, putting innocent Americans in danger and making a mockery of justice yet again.
It all started with one of those feel-good, “social justice” laws passed by a Democrat governor in 2019. This law, cooked up in the fever swamp of virtue signaling, actually banned public colleges from asking about an applicant’s criminal record. That’s right—a university like Old Dominion was legally barred from even finding out if a prospective student was a terrorist, drug dealer, or violent felon. Critical thinking and basic safety, both tossed straight into the shredder—all to appease the Left’s bizarre obsession with protecting criminals over regular Americans.
The results were as predictable as they were disturbing. Mohamed Bailor Jalloh, who pleaded guilty to supporting ISIS, landed an 11-year prison sentence that should have kept him locked away. But another leftist loophole—this time courtesy of the federal prison system—let him out after barely two and a half years. All it took was completing a substance abuse program, and suddenly this threat to America was walking free. The globalist soft spot for rehabilitating terrorists over safeguarding American lives reveals itself, once again.
Jalloh then strolled into Old Dominion University, with his terrorist history buried under a pile of politically correct nonsense. If the university had been allowed to check his background, they could have shut the door on him. But liberal lawmakers and their activist buddies decided “inclusion” mattered more than security. This isn’t compassion—it’s reckless arrogance dressed up as social progress.
At every step, progressive incompetence handed Jalloh blank checks. Do these leftists not get it? Do they actually believe a terrorist deserves more protection than the kids in Virginia just trying to get a good education? Or is it all part of some twisted plan to erase accountability and undermine American values from within?
This is the ugly reality of the Left’s policies: America pays the price, while criminals and radicals get a free pass. How many more disasters do we need before our leaders stop catering to woke ideology and start protecting their own people?
