For decades, Americans have been lectured that we can’t have new refineries. Liberals tell us it’s all “for the planet.” Yet here comes American First Refinery, dusting themselves off for another round — ready to put jobs and American energy first. While the left wrings its hands over “climate change,” real businesses are actually trying to build something. And surprise, surprise: the company behind the latest refinery push, American First Refinery, is no rookie. They used to be called Elemental Fuel Holdings, and they’ve been battling red tape and eco-madness before.
Think about what’s at stake. An American-built refinery means less dependence on foreign oil. That means lower gas prices, less bending a knee to OPEC, and more paychecks for Texas workers. But for the so-called “progressive” crowd, this is all a nightmare. They want Americans driving little electric toy cars on roads paved with guilt and “green” taxes. The globalists want us weak. But a new Texas refinery makes us strong.
Of course, the left will roll out their tired scare tactics. They’ll shout about emissions and paint doomsday pictures to scare families and shut down jobs. They ignore the fact that American refineries are cleaner and safer than the polluting monsters in China and the Middle East. Every time American entrepreneurs try to build, it’s the same old song from the left: block, stall, and sue. Protecting their green donors seems to matter more than American workers.
Let’s be real. The only thing standing between everyday Americans and affordable gas is liberal incompetence and hypocrisy. They cry about “big oil” but fly private jets to climate conferences. Meanwhile, patriotic companies step up and offer solid solutions. The left wants us starving for energy and dependent on whims from across the ocean. How’s that fair for the folks in Texas trying to make an honest living?
So here’s the question: will our leaders finally get out of the way and let Americans win? Or will they keep bowing to global elites and radical green groups while families pay the price at the pump? American First Refinery isn’t just building a plant — they’re building a backbone. About time somebody did.
