The FCC is finally doing what conservatives have been demanding for years: holding these so-called “public” broadcasters accountable for pushing fake news. Chair Brendan Carr isn’t mincing words. Broadcasters have gotten comfortable twisting stories, running hoaxes, and calling it journalism. The FCC is telling them: clean up your act, or kiss your cushy government licenses goodbye.
Everyone knows these liberal networks have had a free pass to spread misinformation while lecturing the rest of us about “disinformation.” Woke anchors spin every story to smear conservatives, praise globalist elites, and undermine traditional American values. For years, these broadcasters believed no one would dare challenge their monopoly on truth. Now the tables are starting to turn.
Big Media can whine all day about freedom of the press, but that doesn’t give them the right to make up stories or lie to the American people. These so-called “public airwaves” were meant for honest news, not for pushing left-wing propaganda. If these networks want to stay in business, they should try simply reporting the facts instead of twisting them to suit their agenda.
Of course, the liberal elites running these stations are scrambling. They’re terrified that their iron grip on the narrative might finally be slipping. The FCC’s warning puts the ball in their court. Either fix your “news” now or risk losing what you value most—your power over the American mind.
It’s about time someone turned the spotlight on media hypocrisy and forced these globalist mouthpieces to play by the rules. The real question is: are Americans finally waking up to who’s actually distorting the truth, or will the left keep hiding behind lies and big government protection?
