Communism Is Collapsing in Cuba While American Socialists Cheer for Tyranny
Apparently, the left doesn’t bother to learn from history—or current events. Just look at what’s happening in Cuba right now. The Cuban people, after living under the iron fist of communism for almost seventy years, are finally saying enough is enough. Cubans have stormed the communist party headquarters and set it ablaze. These are not just protests—this is open rebellion against a regime that starved, censored, and suffocated its own people.
Let’s face the truth: communist Cuba has always been a disaster zone. While party elites feast and live in luxury, everyday Cubans survive on meager scraps dished out by the so-called benevolent government—just a few pounds of rice and beans, half a bottle of cooking oil, a little chicken, eggs, and barely enough to live. Imagine being told you only deserve a third of the food you need just because the state says so. The regime even cut the daily bread ration recently—just when you think things can’t get any more cruel.
Yet across the ocean, America’s Left isn’t watching and learning. No, they’re doubling down. We’ve got young socialists, some with family mansions and trust funds, preaching that socialism means equality. They dream they’ll end up as poets or professional Twitch streamers while the government takes care of their every need. In reality, if their fantasies became law, they’d be shoveling in a factory or, if unlucky, shipped off when the party decides they’re no longer useful. That’s the brutal legacy of real-life socialism.
What’s even more infuriating is watching Democrats and DSA types ignore the cries of anyone who’s actually lived through communism. The American left preaches about “lived experience”—until it comes from Cubans, Russians, or others who actually warn us about socialism’s horrors. Then their voices are silenced or smeared—because the truth threatens the leftist agenda, and they can’t stand that.
Now, these so-called Democratic Socialists are parading into Cuba, lecturing the oppressed and starving masses to “just get over it” so they can keep selling their utopian fantasy to Americans. Picture it: a bunch of privileged radicals, dripping with expensive coffee and designer shoes, telling desperate Cubans that communism isn’t so bad. The disconnect is hysterical if it weren’t so sick.
It’s no wonder Cuban exiles in America are staunch conservatives—many know firsthand the nightmare the left wants us to repeat. Democrats hate them for not sticking to the script, so they try to erase their voices. But nobody who escaped socialism wants it back—and they know what’s at stake better than any entitled socialist influencer ever could.
Americans need to wake up before this delusion spreads further. Do these pampered leftists seriously believe they’ll be exempt from the pain they cheer for? That the misery Cubans endured is just a small price for their own unearned utopia?
One thing’s for sure: if the DSA ever tries to put the Cuban people back in chains, they’re going to get a lesson in real revolution. It’ll play out on global livestream, and trust me, there won’t be enough popcorn for the spectacle as the Cuban people show the Marxists the door.
