Democrats turn on Swalwell using Trump playbook in brutal power grab

California Democrats are tearing each other apart—again. Turns out, the party of “unity” is ready to eat its own when power is at stake. This time the target is Eric Swalwell, the self-righteous congressman who never misses a chance to bash Republicans. Now his own party is using evidence dug up by a Trump appointee to try to boot him from the governor’s race. You really can’t make this stuff up.

Let’s not forget why Swalwell became a household name in the first place—it wasn’t for helping hardworking Americans. It was for pushing Russian collusion hoaxes while cozying up to real foreign agents. Democrats didn’t mind back then, but now that it’s convenient, they’re eager to weaponize damaging Trump-era findings against their own. It’s the kind of hypocrisy we see from the left every time—rules only matter when they can slam their opponents.

This fight exposes the ugly truth behind Democrat politics. Forget unity, forget values—the only thing that matters is who gets to play king of the Sacramento swamp. They’ll even lean on facts uncovered by the very people they spent years calling threats to democracy. If Trump officials are so bad, why does the left dig into that toolbox when it serves them? Maybe because they have nothing else.

Swalwell has always acted above the law, secure in his leftist bubble, protected by the liberal media and party bosses. But as soon as he threatens someone else’s ambitions, suddenly those skeletons in his closet are fair game. Democrats don’t care about truth or justice unless it helps their power grabs. If this is how they treat their own, imagine what they’re willing to do to everyday Americans who step out of line.

This latest backstabbing just proves what conservatives have always known: Liberal elites will trample anyone—including their own allies—to get ahead. If Democrats can’t even stand together, how can anyone expect them to lead this country? Once again, the left’s love for power is stronger than any sense of loyalty or principle. Swalwell should have seen it coming—nothing is sacred in the Democrat circus.
