Justice in America just took another nosedive, folks. In Georgia, the district attorney has decided to let a group of teenagers off the hook after their so-called “prank” left a beloved high school coach dead. That’s right—these kids played around, a teacher ended up losing his life, and now, thanks to yet another soft-on-crime DA, there will be zero real consequences.
This is another example of liberal leadership failing our communities. A coach, someone dedicated to helping young people, is gone because of recklessness and stupidity. Once again, those in charge throw up their hands and refuse to hold anyone accountable. Apparently, as long as you’re young and can call it a “prank,” you’re free to get away with just about anything these days.
Where is the justice for that coach’s family? Where is the message that actions have consequences, especially when someone’s life is taken? Liberal prosecutors seem more worried about protecting criminals—or, in this case, careless teens—than they are about real victims. If this is what passes for law and order, no wonder crime is rising and respect for authority is dying in our schools.
Let’s be honest—this isn’t about “compassion” or “second chances.” It’s about a justice system that’s forgotten who it’s supposed to serve. The left wants us to believe everyone’s a victim, everyone deserves a pass, and punishment is somehow unkind. But what about the innocent lives lost? What about the families left shattered?
America’s values are under attack. If you’re tired of watching criminals walk free while hardworking citizens pay the price, you’re not alone. At this rate, maybe it’s time these soft-on-crime zealots answer a simple question: whose side are they really on?
