These globalist elites can’t be bothered to defend the world’s energy lifeline, even as oil tankers come under fire. So much for partnership.
Let’s call this what it is—more European cowardice hiding behind empty talk and “diplomacy.” The Strait of Hormuz isn’t some far-off problem. It’s the choke point for the world’s oil supply. When Iran flexes its muscles and targets ships, prices shoot up and gas gets even more expensive for hardworking Americans. The left loves to lecture everyone about “cooperation,” but apparently, that means Americans do all the heavy lifting while everyone else sits on the sidelines.
Germany wants all the perks of free trade and cheap energy, but when it comes time to put boots on the ground or ships in the water, they run for cover. This is exactly what happens when liberals take charge: they refuse to lead, they’re afraid to stand up to bullies, and they leave America isolated. Meanwhile, the left complains about American “aggression,” but who else is willing to hold the line?
It’s time for so-called allies to step up, stop hiding behind empty promises, and join the fight for global security. Or is Germany hoping the United States will always do its dirty work? Americans deserve better than freeloading partners and gutless foreign policy.
