Iran just showed the world, once again, the true face of radical Islamic terror. This time, it didn’t happen in some faraway conflict zone. No, Iran’s missile hit home in the United Arab Emirates, killing an innocent person and putting the entire Middle East on alert. Instead of bringing peace, Iran decided to spill blood—blatantly, on another nation’s soil.
Qatar responded with outrage, blasting Iran for its reckless attack. But let’s be honest—how many times have we seen these rich Gulf states talk big while cowering behind America’s military strength? They want peace, but they expect American soldiers to do the fighting and the dying. Liberals in Washington, meanwhile, will probably bend over backward to “understand Iran’s grievances” or push for another round of useless, toothless negotiations. How’s that worked out so far?
Iran keeps getting away with murder—literally—because the globalist elites are more worried about “Islamophobia” than holding bloodthirsty mullahs accountable. Instead of standing up to Iran’s terror regime, the West issues more statements, writes more reports, and draws more red lines that are always crossed without consequence. The world watches Iran kill its neighbors, and the so-called international community shrugs.
Let’s not kid ourselves: this is what happens when weakness replaces strength. Under weak liberal leadership, America’s enemies grow bolder. They know the Biden administration talks a big game but waves the white flag when it really counts. Our allies in the region know it, too—they’re furious for a reason. They see Iran’s violence, and they understand just how helpless they are without real American leadership.
Does anyone honestly believe Iran would have dared fire missiles at its neighbors back when America projected real strength? The answer is obvious. But as long as the world’s response to this horror is just another round of angry press releases and polite handwringing, Iran’s terror machine will keep running—and innocent lives will keep being lost. Maybe it’s finally time to ask: How many more people have to die before the West wakes up?
