It’s getting more ridiculous by the day—the way our so-called “media” plays defense for terrorists and tries to twist every story against Israel and the West. Just look at what happened at that Michigan synagogue last week. A known terrorist, Ayman Mohamad Ghazali, plowed right through the doors of Temple Israel, planning who-knows-what kind of horror. Thanks to armed security, no innocent people got hurt—except the terrorist himself, who won’t be plotting anything ever again. Good riddance.
But the liberal media couldn’t care less about the Jews he threatened or the intended violence. No, the focus instantly shifts to making the killer some sort of victim. They dig up every tragic family sob story and broadcast it on repeat, hoping Americans will feel “compassion” for a man who literally brought terror to our backyard. They blabber on about his family in Lebanon, how they were hit in an airstrike—never mind their ties to Hezbollah and years of supporting terror campaigns against innocent Israelis. Suddenly, we’re supposed to forget who the aggressors really are.
This is the left’s favorite trick—turning monsters into martyrs and sidestepping the hard reality. Nobody wants to talk about the fact that Ghazali’s brother was running weapons for Hezbollah, a group that launches rockets at Israeli homes every day. It’s always Israel’s fault, or America’s fault, or somehow our problem that these radicals keep choosing bloodshed. You’ll never hear the left-wing press mention that the attackers in these stories are the same ones targeting our allies and our own communities. For them, ideology matters more than truth.
Instead, we get endless handwringing about “revenge” and “anger” as if that excuses terrorism. Families that raise and harbor terrorists—sorry, there is no pity here. If you pick up arms and join groups like Hezbollah, you’ve chosen your side. The world is safer with one less murderer on the streets, whether that’s in the Middle East or right here in Michigan. The moral confusion of the left is plain as day: they defend the villain and ignore the victims.
This country used to know the difference between good and evil. Now half the media cheers when a terrorist gets a glossy profile while churches and synagogues have to hire armed guards just to survive. If the radical left has a problem with that, maybe they should try living in a country run by the people they defend. Until then, keep crying over terrorists—they’re not missed here.
